She made sure we all got up at the crack of dawn for 13 years. Our kitty alarm clock. But she wasn't feeling well any more--poor sick kitty. Tough day at our house.

Oh, Hobie. She had her peeps and I was proud to be one of them. What a wonderful cat!
Yes, if you were one of her "peeps," she was RIGHT THERE next to you! Like glue. If you weren't one of her "peeps," she would be hiding under the basement steps, curled up on her blue sleeping bag with the pink elephants. There were people who never saw Hobie--called her the Phantom Cat--because she would always hide when they came.
My routine this morning seemed odd--no kitty waiting for me, no trip to the laundry room to fill water and food, no cleaning the litter box, no cat hair anywhere. She was certainly a part of my daily living and it seems a little lonely without her.
Sorry mom. Congrats Dad. I saw that cat a total of 5 times in the last 13 years...Uhde will be sad to know "The Puma" has passed. R
Aw . . . nothing personal. Hobie just liked ladies better than she liked men. Don't know why--maybe we just smell better. She was very, very sweet to those of us who were her chosen ones.
Sorry to hear about the kitty.
